A Father's Strength: Encouragement for Dads of Faith
To all the fathers, bonus dads, spiritual fathers, and men aspiring to walk in fatherhood
We see you, we honour you, and we appreciate you, even if the world doesn’t always celebrate you the way you deserve.
I was chatting with my husband the other day, and he said something that really stuck with me:
“Father’s Day just doesn’t get the same kind of wrap as Mother’s Day.”
He wasn’t bitter. He was just being honest. The truth is, many dads feel the weight of responsibility but often do not receive the recognition or encouragement they deserve. And to Christian fathers especially, the call to lead your family in faith, love, provision, and protection is no small task. You carry a mantle that is both sacred and demanding.
Being a Man of Faith Isn’t Always Easy
In a world where culture often blurs the lines of manhood, or diminishes the role of fathers, standing as a man of faith takes strength, humility, and courage.
Sometimes it feels like:
You're fighting battles silently while trying to remain strong for others.
You're making sacrifices no one sees.
You’re leading your home spiritually, even when you're tired, stretched, or unsure.
But hear this! God sees you.
He’s the One who called you, and He’s the One who sustains you.
God Is Your Strength
You are not doing this alone. Your Father in Heaven is your source of wisdom, your strength, and your example. He equips you. He refreshes you. He restores what you pour out.
So this Father's Day, whether you're:
🤍A biological father
🤍A bonus dad stepping into the gap
🤍A mentor, uncle, or spiritual father
🤍Or believing God for the day you’ll become one
We honour the father-heart in you.
